There’s so much in that  quote that resonates so deeply with me.<\/p>\n

For much of my life I didn’t  believe my own life was all that precious. I didn’t feel like I belonged<\/strong>. (Though I was really good at fitting in.) Due to a cummulination of events through my formative years, my teens, and early adulthood I also didn’t feel I had much, if any, choice in creating a plan of my own. Most of my life decisions were reactionary. Since then, I’ve done a lot of work and I’ve reclaimed my own life<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

I know I’m not the only one who has felt that their life wasn’t their own. If that’s you, know that part of working with me will include exploring what it would look like if you were living your own wild and precious life in a way you loved.<\/strong>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=”4.9.3″ text_font=”||||||||” text_line_height=”2em” min_height=”72px” inline_fonts=”Playfair Display”]<\/p>\n

With over 20 years of experience in financial services, as a Certified Financial Planner™ practitioner and Certified Financial Therapist Level-I™ professional, I bring a unique blend of expertise and empathy to guide individuals on their financial journeys. I firmly believe that financial well-being is a key ingredient to personal empowerment. <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Regardless of what has happened to us, I believe we have the power to change the scripts<\/strong>. Surviving religious abuse ignited a fire within me to create safer spaces within faith-based systems, challenging the status quo and fostering healing for others. I don\u2019t shy away from uncomfortable conversations and am currently working on my memoir, which I hope will spark change and healing.<\/span><\/p>\n

As a mom to two amazing young humans, one of whom is neurodiverse, I’ve become an advocate for inclusive policies and support systems that uplift all. My journey as a parent has not only made me aware of the need for change within public education but has brought me into being part of that change.<\/span><\/p>\n

We can’t create change alone<\/strong>, it happens within our communities. Making a tangible impact on my community is not just a goal but a driving force in everything I do. I invest in nurturing connections that truly matter, valuing meaningful relationships. I believe that when we make an effort to show up authentically, making a difference wherever we are, we embody what it means to live our legacy!<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/a>[dropcap]W[\/dropcap]hat I love most about financial planning is the process of helping people better understand their goals and priorities and then designing a plan that reflects that.\u00a0 No two clients are the same and there\u2019s never one right answer. \u00a0I love developing custom strategies to fit my clients\u2019 specific needs. \u00a0It\u2019s rewarding to see someone reach their goals and witness the contentment that goes along with knowing their financial life is centered on their priorities. \u00a0I am so grateful to be a part of that process.<\/p>

Sharing what I\u2019ve learned is very important to me, which is why I am so passionate about providing financial education to others and not just to my clients. \u00a0I'm currently working on some eCourses designed to help not only increase what we know about personal finance but also improve the way we incorporate it into our lives.\u00a0 \u00a0Additionally, I enjoy writing various educational pieces and articles and am currently working on a book about creating a happier retirement even when the cards seemed to be stacked against us. \u00a0Be sure to check out my blog<\/a>!<\/p>

My heart is also focused on my family. \u00a0My husband, Jeff, and I are blessed to have a 2 children Luke and Ella. \u00a0I am additionally blessed to be a part of the lives of my three young adult step-children, Ryan, Christian and Jessica. \u00a0Together we enjoy traveling, sport activities and playing with our yellow-lab, Utley. \u00a0Although, we live quite rurally, thanks to advances in technology, I am able to work with clients all over, regardless of distance.<\/p>
